WiseHacks is a beginner-friendly hackathon hosted on the University of Virginia's College at Wise campus for all college students of any major. Our goal is to help develop and enhance students' technical skills to help them become competitive applicants in technology-related careers.

Who can participate?
All students are welcome! Whether you're a beginner or experienced developer, our hackathon is designed for all skill levels. No prior hackathon experience required.
What should I bring?
Bring your laptop, chargers, and any development tools you prefer. We'll provide meals, snacks, and a creative environment for you to work in.
Do I need a team?
Teams are encouraged but not required! You can come with a team or join one at the event. We'll help match solo participants with others who share similar interests.
Is there a registration fee?
Absolutely not! Our hackathon is completely free to attend, including all meals, snacks, and event activities.
What technologies can I use?
You can use any programming language, framework, or technology you're comfortable with. The goal is to build something innovative and impactful!
